GOTHIC FUNK
Broadly speaking, then, the affective lifestyle that's evolved through actions such as urban exploring and nightwalks and the development of the projects summarized above can be broken into three categories:
Blue Skies Falling, which facilitates a "living art."
Gothic Funk, which faciliates an "affective art."
Personal Occlusion, which facilitates an "effective art."
While it's second in the hierarchy I've just outlined, given the course of this introduction, "gothic funk" is the easiest to describe.
As I've cultivated an understanding of "affective art" in terms of motivational force and paradox, I couldn't help but notice that most of my projects appeared to fulfill the numerous (and themselves often paradoxical) definitions of "gothic" and "funk." By applying such characteristics to projects as a loose framework, I could prime a work for affectivity.
Gothic Funk, then, is extension, a specification, of affective emphases to actual projects.
